Everyday I take my dog for walks.
\nMy phone stays home, it\u2019s not time to talk.
\nIt\u2019s time to breathe crisp air
\nMake friends with trees and stare
\nAt beauty in every flower
\nTo gaze at sun and wonder,
\nIf I were here as any other,
\nWould songs of birds reach my ear
\nOr would I fail to hear?<\/p>\n

Everyday I walk the streets of LA.
\nNo plan, my feet go where they may.
\nAs I walk I stop and listen
\nTo wind in trees and the river glistens.
\nThe birds and flowers speak to me.
\nSinging tales of wonder and mystery,
\nAnd it feels as if the entire history,
\nOf my city and home, can be found
\nIn every sight and sound.<\/p>\n

Everyday I spend time in Nature.
\nMy friends, each plant and creature.
\nThey speak to me and tell me stories
\nOf wonder, praise, and every glory
\nTo be found in yards and gardens.
\nGreat beauty ignored all too often
\nBy those whose hearts are hardened.
\nThey can\u2019t help but pity
